The strategies are very similar to how businesses run their "office" environments, i.e., CEO, in having company "work" success. Of course, it's much more loving and gives examples of REAL families -- and what they've done to successfully handle "everyday" parenting...

Mrs. Lynn was due in the very next day for a book signing - so I took the book home the night before. I began reading IT after I put the kids to bed (and couldn't put it down!). It's so awesome and by far the best parenting book I've ever read! It's funny, simple and has very creative tips. It's the kind of book you can read over and over again with each new stage of your children. I finally felt important as a parent by the choices in Mommy-CEO. My husband agrees as well. Mrs. Lynn is a very friendly person (the next day when she came in, I gave her a hug). I thanked her for the book and she actually hugged me back. In the book, she doesn't talk down to parents like many other parenting experts. She makes us feel like we are all in this together. It's a wonderful book and the guidelines are treasures to use throughout life in any situation. I used them right away, and not only with my children, but my co-workers too.
