Chicken in Wine sauce with Angel hair pasta
6 skinless, bneless chicken breast halves 4 tablespoons butter 1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix 1/2 cup white cooking wine 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup 4 ounces cream cheese 2 (8oz) packages angel hair pasta
Cooking: 1) In a large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add package of dressing mix. Blend in wine and undiluted can of soup. Blend in cream cheese and stir until smooth. Heat through gently.
2) Arrange chicken breasts in a baking dish. Pour sauce over the chicken breasts.
3)Bake in preheated oven at 325 degrees F (165 degree C) for 60 minutes.
4)As baking time nears, in a large pot with boiling salted water cook angel hair pasta until al dente. Drain well.
5) Serve chicken dish over warm angel hair pasta.
****time saver method**** Instead of using the boneless chicken breasts, use chicken cutlets cut up in to strips. Prepare the sauce in the saucepan, then add it to a baking dish and put in the chicken cutlet strips. This is an easy way to cook it faster and still have it be drenched with the flavor.
