EASY Vegetable Beef Soup

1 sirloin steak - 1" thick
Salt, pepper, basil
28 oz. beef broth
16 oz. jar Salsa
4 medium potatoes - cubed
1 can green beans-drained (or small bag frozen)
(You can also use any other combination of canned or frozen vegetables)
1 can Great Northern Beans (rinsed & drained)

Slice sirloin steak in 1" long slices about 1/8" thick. Season with salt, pepper and basil and brown in a little oil. Add potatoes and saute with the meat for about 5 minutes. Add the green beans, beef broth and salsa. If more liquid is needed, add water. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer until potatoes are tender. Add Great Northern beans and heat through. Serve.
