  • Diaper Rash Cure My first 2 daughters had sensitive skin and would get terrible diaper rashes. Our Dr prescribed a perscription medication, but that didn't work right away. When my 3rd was born, she had a diaper rash so I took her to the Dr for the script. Instead he told me to go buy a tube of Monistat(or generic) 7 day yeast infection cream. It's safe for newborns. It worked so fast! Everyone I know has got permission from their Dr to use it, and has had the same good results as I've had. I've already purchased a tube for my lil boy on the way. • Diaper Rash Fix For bad diaper rash, like that caused by anitbiotics, we use athelete's foot creme, like Lotrimin. Our doctor says there is nothing better, and it clears the rash in less than 2 days. Submitted By: Dana(Added: 10-Apr-2004 Hits: 0 Rating: 0 Votes: 0) Rate It
  • Diaper Rash Treatmeat WORKS! Here is a tip that my sons dr told us! If you are tired of buying all the expecive diaper rash creams try using udder cream! It is found in the pet isle at places like Walmart or at a pet store! Put it on thick at each changing and it will heal up within a day or two!! It really works my son is now 2 and always had bad diaper rashes...none of the baby diaper rash cream would work as well as this did! It is well worth the money! • DIAPER RASH TREATMENT Want to get rid of diaper rash without expensive and smelly creams? Try Aunt Freida's proven treatment. Brown flour in pan over medium heat. Wait until cool and place on baby's bottom. Usually in one day the redness is totally gone and baby is a happy camper! You can also use this on those babies that have extra folds and get irritated skin. I tried those expensive creams with no luck, then my aunt said to try this and it worked! • Diapering basket Buy an inexpensive plastic or wicker basket to keep all you need for diapering. In the morning fill it with diapers, wipes, diaper rash ointment, changing pad, etc. Keep the basket downstairs where baby spends most of the day. Now you have all you need ready for the day and no running up and down the stairs for diaper changes. Submitted By: Gloria B.(Added: 17-Aug-2003 Hits: 0 Rating: 10.00 Votes: 1) Rate It

  • Dirty Diapers I saved the bags that my newspapers came in in the winter and when the weather was bad and put the dirty disposable diapers in them. It was a lot cheaper than a diaper genie. I even put a diaper in, knotted it and then could put another one in. It really helped cut down on the smell between taking the garbage out. • Disposable Bottle Liners In order to make your disposable bottle liner supply last twice as long, just rinse out and reuse the liner. I've found that I can double or triple the amount of use I get and that saves me time and money. :) Submitted By: Rebecca Lerma(Added: 21-May-2001 Hits: 0 Rating: 2.33 Votes: 3) Rate It

  • Doctoring Baby When having to put Desitin on or any type of Diaper Rash ointment on my baby, I use a q-tip instead of using my finger so I don't have to get it all over my hands or the baby! Submitted By: Melody Godfrey(Added: 7-Apr-2001 Hits: 0 Rating: 0 Votes: 0) Rate It
  • Dried out baby wipes To help baby wipes from getting all dried out and make them last longer. Before you add a refill pack to the baby wipe container put about 1/2 inch of water into the bottom of the container mix in a squirt of liquid baby wash. When you now add the baby wipe refills they'll soak up the water and soap mixture. This helps to decrease the amount of wipes you use, since wetter wipes clean up poopy bottoms with less wipes. And the wipes remain wet throughout the whole pack. Submitted By: cat_mandu(Added: 20-Sep-2002 Hits: 0 Rating: 10.00 Votes: 1) Rate It
  • Easy Nail Clipping To easily clip baby's fingernails and toenails follow these three easy steps. 1. Run a warm bath in ADULT bathtub and put in some lavender baby wash for bubbles. 2. Get in tub with your baby between your legs and enjoy bubbles together. 3. Before getting out, you can clip nails; baby will be relaxed and nails are softer. • Easy to make sling Instead of buying a baby carrier or sling, which can be expensive and quickly outgrown, you can make your own. Purchase two pillow cases (standard size for a standard sized mom or queen if you need a larger size). Lay them one on top of the other and put a double seam on each end. Put it around yourself and then put the baby in bottom first. A child can be carried lying down or, when they've grown larger, sitting on a hip. The baby's head can be on the open side, or the covered side for napping and nursing. Submitted By: Rachel(Added: 6-Jan-2005 Hits: 0 Rating: 0 Votes: 0) Rate It

  • Falling back to sleep My son always had trouble sleeping and would wake frequently even before I had gone to bed. I had tried several things to try and help him fall asleep including comforting him beside the crib. Finally I tried singing to him without picking him up or cooing or soothing first. He would go back to sleep within seconds. Submitted By: Kasia Steeves(Added: 25-Oct-2001 Hits: 0 Rating: 0 Votes: 0) Rate It
