- Pencil Eraser (scuff marks)
A pencil eraser will erase the marks on your floors made by shoes...especially boots.

- Perfect sized cold pack
Children (especially small ones) are always shutting doors on their fingers or sometimes they get stepped on by another sibling. I decided that normal sized ice packs were just not small enough for a tiny finger boo-boo, so now I keep small chocolate eggs (from Easter) in my freezer. Now when they get hurt, not only do they have a "just right" ice pack, but they get to eat them when the chill wears off!!

- Personal Learning Books
Purchase several small photo brag books found at any dollar store and at most yard sales. Take pictures of your toddler (digital camera works great. To make an ABC book for older tods, have pictures of your toddler with items specific to that letter: A-eating an apple, B-holding his bear, C- Coloring with crayons, etc. For a Color Book have pictures of your toddler wearing that color or holding an item of that color. Or make an easy to read book with pictures and simple sentences "Jordan can... eat his food, jump high, ride his bike, throw a ball." Children love these books because it's all about them!

- Picky Eater Solution
Have a picky eater at home? How about giving them something to "dip" their food in? I place a small amount of "dip" such as ketchup, dressing, or sauce on my child's tray and he will eat ANYTHING as long as he can dip it!

- Picky Eaters
I can never get my 2 year old to eat sandwiches on bread. So I tried putting her meat and cheese on a hotdog bun. It worked! She loves it. It is small and narrow for her little hands to hold onto. And plus she thinks she is special because she is the only one eating her sandwich off of a bun.

- Picture Perfect
All moms know how hard it is to leave a crying child whether it's for an hour with Grandma or a whole day at preschool. One way to make it easier is to leave a picture of mommy with the child; so if they start crying for you, all they have to do is look at your picture. It really helps them feel secure "Seeing" the one they love!!

- Picture Perfect Dressing
My four year old dresses herself - and I actually like what she picks out! When my daughter turned two she began the "I can dress myself" phase. Sometimes I shuddered at the sight of her in plaid shorts and striped tops. So... we created "Fashion Show Night". After a day of shopping, my daughter models her new outfits for Daddy. We take polaroid shots of her in matching outfits and hang them on her closet door. She has several "picture perfect outfits" to choose from and loves matching clothes to photos. However, there are occassions she wants to "try something different"

- pictures for little ones
My little girl 20 months old now likes to look at pictures so i always get double prints give one to her and keep the other, she puts them in a empty diaper wipe box and gets them out and looks at them eveyday it is her own little picture box of family and friends, it helps her remember family and friends that live far away from her that we don't see very often. I started this when she was about a year old.

- Plastic on toddlers beds
A cheaper alternative to buying a plastic sheet for your toddlers bed is to go to the dollar store and spend $1 on a plastic shower curtain! Put the longest part across the middle of the bed and it will tuck in nice and secure under the mattress - place the usual fitted sheet on top!

- Potty Training
I bought my son a musical potty and now everytime he needs to potty he likes to go because of the music that plays when he finishes using it. It really works, he's 18 months old and is starting to go potty. Boys don't have to be harder to potty train if you have the right instrument!

- Potty Training
Living in a split-level house, my daughter would forget about going "to the bathroom" to go potty. So to provide a constant reminder that when she had to "GO" she shoudld go on the potty, we placed a portable potty in the living room so she would see it at all times. This was a reminder to sit on the potty instead of going in her diaper! And she wasn't taken away from the TV or her play things.

- Potty Training
If you have a little girl whose loves princesses and won't use the toilet - this is what worked for me and my best friend. She asked my daughter if she would like princess underwear like a big girl - and of course the answer was yes -- then she added, "but you can't go pee pee in them because you don't want to get the princesses dirty." - it worked for us

- Potty Training
This is a tip that I have passed on to others and so far it has worked 100% of the time. When it was time to potty train my daughter I bought a toy she really wanted (a doll) and put it on the back of the potty chair. I told my daughter that she could have the doll when she used the potty, but if she had an accident the doll would have to go back and wait on the potty until she used it again. In less than one week, that doll was hers to keep!

- Potty Training
My son is 2 1/2 years old. It was always a fight to get him to go potty. Well I made him his "potty reward jar" I put some of his favorite things in there. So when he goes potty or poopy, he gets a prize. It works really well, almost too well. He can't wait to go to the bathroom now. Just for that prize.

- potty training
My two year old daughter is potty training, but as a busy mom it is hard to work with her. We bought an extra little potty chair to keep in the car, that way we always have "her" potty with us where ever we go. So whenever we are at someone's house or on vacation or traveling or just whenever we have her potty, because alot of times kids won't potty on a different potty other than their own.
